Work Truck Wednesday Says: Let Us Insulate The World!

Happy Wednesday to all you hard-working people out there! Here's a truck you don't see every day. It can carry a lot of things but insulation is a perfect product to carry in this beauty. Yet, this is only part of the appeal of this truck. The 14' Martin Flatbed body is mounted on the Chevrolet LCF 3500 which has a wheelbase of 132.5" which is about the same as a pickup with an 8' body, and it has a turning radius that beats the pickup all day long. Then, you're up and over traffic with outstanding visibility. It is comfortable to drive, easy to park, has great amenities, and more. It's a winning combination of style, substance, and usefulness!

Get it while it lasts. See more here.

Work Truck Wednesday Salutes The Contractor Body Paired With The 3500HD

This is such a useful work truck. The Contractor Body. In this case, it is a 12' x 8' Royal Contractor Body with upper open-top toolboxes with plastic removable divider bins, under bed toolbox, contractor style short gates around the rear that fold-down out of the way, a load divider at the back of the upper toolboxes, an HD forklift loadable material rack, and trailer receiver and wiring.

This is mounted on the 2020 Chevrolet 3500HD cab chassis with the new 6.6-liter GAS motor and all the typical amenities in a luxury vehicle. The GVWR of this truck is 14,000 lbs. so it will do the job and carry the load.

This chassis has been in very short supply so get it while it lasts.

More on this truck here.

Safe Load BW Insert Gooseneck Ball - A Lifestyle

A gooseneck hitch is very similar to a 5th wheel hitch in that it mounts in the bed of the truck directly above or slightly in front of the rear axles. This type of hitch is typically used for towing livestock, car haulers, large flatbeds, or other commercial/industrial trailers. With the gooseneck hitch, you have the ability to make much tighter turns than a typical bumper tow hitch and trailer. There are two different types of gooseneck hitches: above-bed and under-bed.

The Safe Load BW Insert Gooseneck Ball is an under-bed gooseneck hitch, which is probably the most popular style of a gooseneck hitch. It is custom fit to your specific truck and has rails that attach beneath the bed of the truck.  The two most common types of under-bed gooseneck hitches are the OEM gooseneck hitch and the B&W gooseneck hitch. This BW Insert Gooseneck Ball works specifically with the B&W Turnover Hitch.

This gooseneck ball has a 2-5/16” tow ball made of high-strength stainless steel with a single gauge that is compatible with the B&W Turnover Gooseneck Hitch.
