Work Truck Wednesday Loves To Move Cargo!

Here's a great cargo mover. We begin with the Chevrolet Express Cutaway chassis with 6.6 V8, Automatic, AC, and plenty of comfort features. This chassis sits low to the ground to make it easy to get in and out of and has a low load height. Mounted on this strong chassis is a 16' Morgan Parcel Aluminum Straight Box with 91" height. This unit is equipped with a tuck-away style liftgate to lift heavy items and save on the human back and spine. Don't forget the billboard space on the sides and back!

Heavy-Duty Landscape Dump Is Also A Looker!

What a great-looking truck, and the real value is the work this heavy-duty truck will do. We begin with the Silverado Medium-Duty 6500 chassis with a 23,500 lbs gross vehicle weight rating. Next, it has the 6.6 Duramax diesel and HD Allison automatic transmission. Though this is a serious work truck, it is also loaded with creature comforts to make travel enjoyable. Because of the extra heavy-duty chassis, we can afford a larger truck body to do more work with fewer trips. Mounted on this great chassis is a 16' Steel Landscape Dump Body by Universal Truck Body. This body will carry more landscape materials or worksite debris and has a built-in tarp to cover the load.

I’m Chris Brown, associate publisher of Automotive Fleet. In this episode, I connect with Debbie Struna, national account manager for Fleet Street Remarketing, former board member of the American Fleet Leasing Association (AFLA), and chairperson for the Women in Fleet Management mentorship task force.

Debbie and I discuss how organizations can best plan for succession in the fleet manager’s role and the resources available for new entrants into the fleet community.
