This box van is equipped with wood slats in the inner walls, E-track, and hardwood floors to keep your cargo in place. The wide roll-up door gives you the widest opening possible. The exterior is riveted aluminum sheet to make the body light to be able to carry more cargo.

The chassis is the Chevrolet LCF 4500 with 14,500 lbs GVWR and has a 6.6-liter gas V-8 and automatic transmission, with AC, a Tilt-Telescopic steering wheel, power windows, and more. Visibility is the LCF's claim to fame, along with a very short turning radius.

Work Truck Wednesday: 11' Knapheide Service Body with Raised TSR

 

Let us begin with the Regular-Cab Chevrolet 5500 Medium-Duty chassis with the legendary Duramax diesel engine mated with the Allison heavy-duty automatic transmission as the platform for the Knapheide 11' Steel Service Body with the 3-piece raised TSR (telescopic sliding roof). This keeps cargo in the bed area out of sight, out of mind, and protected from the weather. The sliding top, as it is often called, allows access to two-thirds of the bed area for easy access or to carry taller items when needed. This body also has the master locking system and extra deep compartments while still maintaining the ever-useful open-top lids.
