Work Truck Wednesday: The 4x4 Crew Cab 4500 with Knapheide KUV Body

This great truck body is so often called a plumber's body because plumbers love it for all the space it has as well as all the storage compartments for tools, parts, and more. It could just as well be called an electrician's body, or a remodeler's body, or a carpenter's body, or a landscaping body because it can be so useful for a wide variety of contractors. With an inside height of 73" being able to stand up inside is so helpful. The long shelves inside along with the E-track for holding cargo where you want it held. Then all those compartments outside too. No wonder it is so popular. This unit is just slightly over 11' in length.

All this and the body is mounted on the Silverado Medium-Duty 4500 4-wheel Drive Crew Cab with the legendary Duramax diesel engine mated with the Allison automatic, AC, and so many other features including aluminum wheels! It's a worker and a looker!

These don't last so get it while it's available.

Short 2022 Model-Year to Increase Pent-Up Fleet Demand in 2023

The 74th State of the Fleet Industry video produced by Automotive Fleet offers an updated look at the state of the fleet market as presented by AF Editor Mike Antich. Today's topics include: - The 2022 model-year has closed for all intents and purposes, with new-vehicle ordering for most makes and models of common fleet vehicles now past final order deadline dates. - The acquisition of 2022 model year trucks by fleet will be challenging for those who missed the final order cut-offs. - Those 2022 models still available for ordering have disclaimers that production and delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. - The anticipation is that 2023 model-year ordering will be very intense due to heightened fleet demand from those fleets that missed final order deadlines for 2022.
