The Contractor Body is very popular because it can do so much for such a wide variety of contractors and businesses. It is essentially a flatbed with a lot of optional features which include a tapered headboard, forklift-loadable heavy-duty material rack, 8' long upper bed tool boxes with open top lids for a lot of small storage and by removing dividers carry long tools, plus two fold-down lockable compartments for a lot of tools, parts, and more. Then it has short fold-down gates around the rear of the bed and a cargo divider behind the toolboxes to allow cargo separation. Next, 2 60" underbed toolboxes for more storage, a step bumper across the width of the rear, and a class IV receiver and trailer plug. It's easy to see why this truck can do so much, and this one is mounted on the Chevrolet 3500HD chassis with a 14,000 lb. gross vehicle weight rating so it will carry the load and a familiar feel to your pickup truck inside the cab.
